WHAT TIME DOES THE SHOW REALLY START?

  • We list both door and show times. Please note that standard door times do not reflect the time the artists start but, the time allowed for entrance. For most shows we suggest arriving early, at door times to allow enough time for entrance to the venue.
  • Typically we have a local band on the show as support for the touring artist. We love our local bands and hope you will arrive on time for the show to see the local band or support act traveling with the headliner. You never know who will be the next big thing!
  • Advance tickets for many upcoming shows are available through Front Gate Tickets. We accept CASH only for tickets purchased at the door but we do have an ATM for your convenience.

WHERE CAN I GET TICKETS? I CAN'T MAKE THE SHOW, CAN I GET A REFUND?

Tickets may be purchased through Front Gate Tickets at 888-512-SHOW or on our website, http://waterstreetmusic.frontgatetickets.com. If you select "will call" you may pick up your tickets on the day of the show at door times. We recommend checking each show for ticket information, age restrictions and other details.

We accept CASH only for tickets purchased at the door but we do have an ATM for your convenience.

If a show is cancelled tickets will be refunded at point of purchase otherwise tickets are non-refundable.

IS THERE SEATING FOR EVERY SHOW? WHY DOES MY TICKET HAVE SEAT AND LOCATION INFORMATION PRINTED ON IT WHEN THE SHOW IS A "GENERAL ADMISSION" SHOW?

  • No, Water Street is a General Admission standing Venue. The reference to section, row and seat numbers on the tickets are only a method of accounting. On the off chance we do a seated show, it will be specifically listed in the calendar listing, and it can be theatre-style (rows), cabaret-style (tables and chairs), or a combination of both. In all cases, the seated is limited and there are no reserved seats so arrive early for the best selection.
  • If you are on crutches or have a medical need for a seat, please call us in advance or ask security for assistance when you arrive at the venue. While we will do our best to accommodate your entire party please remember we are a standing venue and as a courtesy to other customers we ask if others in your party do not require seats to please leave them for those who do.
  • * Please feel free to call or email us if you have additional questions.

IS YOUR VENUE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?

Yes, our on-site amenities are handicap accessible. For patrons in wheelchairs we have an elevator on the hall side; just ask security to assist you. There are handicap accessible bathrooms on the first floor. Ask any event staff person for assistance when entering the building.

HOW DO I GET MY BAND ON A BILL?

  • Read our message to local bands on Facebook here (link).

  • Please DO NOT email every email address you find on our website. Our techs and other staff do not book music and while they like hearing about new bands, they can't really help you.
  • Water Street Music Hall primarily books national artists or local bands that have a following. If you are looking to get started in Rochester, Water Street Music Hall is probably not the right venue for you. However, if you are a local band that has a crowd of 100 or more, The Club at Water St may be more appropriate. If this sounds like you, submit your info to info@waterstreetmusic.com. Include the name of the band, a contact name, a link to your website or Facebook page, a link to your EPK or Sonicbids page, venues you have performed in and your draw in the area. Please do not email us large audio or video files.
  • If you are a local band interested in opening for a national act please send an email to info@waterstreetmusic.com. Please include the name of your band, contact person, website or Facebook link. If you have an EPK, Sonicbids or Reverbnation account include that link. Please do not send us large files or attachments. If you can be flexible and do acoustic if needed mention that, a number of touring bands specifically ask for that.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Due to the large amount of inquiries we receive, not all submissions will be responded to. Hard copy press kits can be sent to Water Street Music Hall, c/o Booking: 204 N. Water St. Rochester, NY 14604.

I ORDERED TICKETS, WHEN AND WHERE CAN I PICK THEM UP? WHERE IS WILL CALL?

  • Since we do not have a box office at this time, all "will call" or pre-ordered tickets are available when the doors open for the show.
  • Will Call is located inside the venue, once you pass security they will direct you.
  • It is important to know where and how your tickets were purchased, what website they were purchased from, and by what method they were paid for so we can find your tickets at the door and keep the line moving for those behind you. Fan club purchases are listed differently than tickets purchased from the venue website. You will need a valid ID to pick up any tickets, and if you purchased from Frontgate it is helpful to have the purchase order number. If you won tickets or are on a guest list please tell us that at the door so we can locate your name on the correct list.

DO YOU HAVE A COAT CHECK?

Yes, we have a coat check available seasonally for a nominal fee.

I SEE TWO SHOWS LISTED FOR THE SAME NIGHT, WHAT'S UP?

Water Street Music Hall has two completely separate venues under one roof — The Water Street Music Hall and The Club at Water Street. There are often shows in both rooms at the same time. They are separate so you need a ticket for each show. You can not roam from room to room.

WILL YOU RELEASE MORE TICKETS FOR A SOLD OUT SHOW?

Sorry, a sold out show means it is sold out.

I'M A CONCERNED PARENT WORRIED ABOUT SENDING MY KID TO A SHOW.

  • Only you can decide whether the Water Street Music Hall or The Club at Water Street is the right environment for your child.
